Description:
After her father having run away due to gambling debts, and being
evicted from her apartment, Nanami meets Mikage, a strange man who is afraid of
dogs. Nanami "saves" Mikage from a dog and tells him her story. He
gives Nanami his house as a thank you for saving him. Nanami accepts the offer,
due to having nowhere else to go. Mikage draws her up a map showing her where
to go.
Upon arriving, she finds that it is a rundown shrine. Nanami is then
almost killed by Tomoe, who was expecting Mikage to finally return after his 20
year absence. She is then greeted by both Onikiri and Kotetsu, as the new land
god of the shrine. Unable to accept Nanami as the new land god, Tomoe mocks her
then leaves the shrine, which, without Tomoe's power transforms back into a run-down
state. Not wanting to rob Tomoe of his home and realizing that her powers as a
god are too weak anyway, Nanami leaves, but eventually is brought back by Tomoe
after she seals a contract with him, making him her familiar.

Description:
Nanami continues being a 'Land God/Earth Deity' and as well being
in love with her familiar, Tomoe. Still with Onikiri, Kotetsu and Tomoe, she is
living with her new familiar Mizuki and Mamoru, a monkey shikigami. Her 'being
a god' thing continues as she was given a test by Otohiko, a wind god, to determine
her capability to attend the Divine Assembly in Izumo.

Description:
While playing in the snow
one day at her shrine, the land god Nanami Momozono witnesses her familiar—the
fox youkai Tomoe—collapse, with dark markings appearing on his body. Tomoe's
former master, Lord Mikage, appears after his long absence and places Tomoe
into a magical pocket mirror in order to stave off his ailment.
Mikage explains that long ago, before he and Tomoe had met, the fox youkai was in love with a human woman. Seeking to live as a human with his beloved, he made a deal with a fallen god, but he only ended up cursed and dying. When Mikage discovered Tomoe, the god made the youkai forget his human love as a quick solution. However, something has changed recently to reactivate the curse; Tomoe has fallen in love with his new human master, Nanami. Since there is no way to stop the curse, Nanami wants to stop Tomoe from getting cursed in the first place by traveling back through time, even if it means they may never meet. As Nanami travels back hundreds of years to save her precious familiar, she discovers that she is far more closely bonded to Tomoe than she previously thought.
