changing the breathing techniques to suit the individuals he taught.

Before
Kokushibo died, he mentions that all swordsman who knew/utilized the Sun
Breathing were killed by him and Muzan Kibutsuji before proceeding to question
why the Sun Breathing still persists due to the existence of the Hinokami
Kagura ヒノカミ神楽.
Kokushibo
and Shinjuro Rengoku independently identified the Hinokami Kagura as the Sun
Breathing, the latter through the memoirs of his Demon-slaying ancestor. The
two styles were later confirmed to be the same. There is a (previously unknown)
thirteenth form, which can be learned from the Sun Breathing as a Hinokami
Kagura User that is achieved by completing the twelve movements in succession.
However,
Tanjiro remained uncertain of the breathing style's true nature until he gained
access to the memories of his ancestor, Sumiyoshi. His ancestor's wife, Suyako,
requested to see the Sun Breathing performed during Yoriichi's last visit to
the family. Sumiyoshi memorized the movements and was gifted the hanafuda
earrings by Yoriichi before parting. The breathing style and earrings were then
secretly passed on from father to son in the Kamado family every generation as
a rite of passage. Henceforth, the Sun Breathing became known as the Hinokami
Kagura.

A devastating dashing slash that the
swordsman initiates from a high stance, the technique had enough power to carve
a deep impression that burnt the ground where it was unleashed. Hairo also
noted while Kyojuro was using this attack that his sword was able to burn his
flesh. In the movie adaptation, this attack takes the form of a titanic flaming
dragon with blue eyes that emits blue streaks of electricity from its mouth.
After this technique is performed by Kyojuro in the movie, the surroundings
were seemingly engulfed in flames, creating a purgatory-like hellscape and a
giant whirlwind of heat and fire in the wake of the attack.

Possibly the Thunder Breathing's most
powerful technique and the personal creation of Zenitsu Agatsuma. Zenitsu's
Nichirin Blade takes the form of a bright yellow dragon that seemingly emanates
electric sparks and lightning as he dashes forward at blinding speeds
surpassing his Godspeed technique and decapitates the opponent. The speed
required to perform this technique was so immense it burned the air around
Zenitsu and caused his haori to be ripped to shreds.
Since
the second to sixth form has only been displayed by Kaigaku who uses lightning
in conjunction with his sword attacks, it is unknown how a normal Thunder
Breathing swordsman would perform these techniques.

v Due to the sheer variety of different unique techniques, powers, and abilities a demon develops as they grow stronger, each Blood Demon Art possesses their own unique weaknesses and no two techniques or powers are the same.

However, a universal weakness to these
powers is the fact that they are susceptible to both Sunlight and Nichirin
Blades due to the fact that each technique is fundamentally created from using
a Demon's flesh and blood, and similarly, the matter created from these
techniques would also likely disintegrate once exposed to sunlight and be
dispelled or weakened if a Nichirin blade cuts it.
Fire
Manipulation: Nezuko's main ability is to manipulate special demonic flames
created from her blood, dealing significant damage to demons but completely
harmless against humans. Her flames are so powerful that it could deal
significant damage to Upper Rank 4, Hantengu. Her flames has also displayed the
ability to turn a Nichirin Blade crimson red.
